Deadpool, the game. It’s $20 in the US and €50 in Europe for some reason (the PC versions that is, there’s also a PS3 and XBox 360 version out there). The game is very funny and politically wrong on … every level. It’s not available for purchase to anyone under 18 years of age though, so don’t bother, kids.~
Deadpool is a comedic antihero, an ex-mercenary who fell victim to some scientists who made some horrible experiments on him which not only made him invulnerable, and immortal, but also drove him mad. He has the attention span of a goldfish, and the imagination of a five year old. His aim? He wants his own computer game, so you, the player, will help him get through the game’s story.
The game’s artwork is amazing, and so is the voice acting, as well as pacing. Apart from that it’s a pretty average third person action game, and for today’s standard maybe a bit short lived (definetly not worth 50 bucks, but pretty good for 20), but the humor and overall story arc wrap it up all nicely. If you have loved ones with whom you’d like to have a laugh (I sure don’t), then this game might be for you.
I’d love to spoil the story, but … Deadpool kinda didn’t read the script or listen to anyone who told him what was going on. So, “You like tacos, Wade?”
